These include the role of risk assessment, risk management, precaution, and risk communications, as well as how policies and laws are implemented.

| Solid Waste Policies |
After use, some of Procter & Gamble's products (like baby diapers), and all of our packaging, become part of household solid waste. Ensuring the compatibility of these products and packages with common methods of waste management (waste reduction, recycling, incineration, and landfilling) is part of our responsibility. Sound government policies regarding waste management are also very important.
